Making your car secure with Smart Cop, anti-theft system.

This is the age of tech savvy car thieves. This means that the regular alarm system installed in your car won’t cut it anymore. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with an alarm system. They are great for attraction attention and at scaring off car thieves.  But car alarms are also easy to disable. Delta Smart Cop is a vehicle immobilizer, which is different from alarm systems. It is an electronic gadget that’s fitted into your car and prevents the engine from starting unless an authorized key or a smart key (in case of a keyless entry system) is present. Smart Cop is small in size, which effectively enables it to be concealed inside your vehicle.

How does Smart Cop work?

The inner workings of Smart Cop are very interesting. The manufacturers won’t tell you everything, but here is what we do know. It has built in microchips that send signals to the ignition and fuel-pump systems. What the system does is, that it disables parts of your car that are absolutely crucial for startup, this includes the ignition system and the fuel pump. I hope you can imagine that starting a car without the ignition system working is nearly impossible.
